ACQ London – Refund Policy

At ACQ London, we aim to deliver high-quality education and student satisfaction. We understand that in some cases students may need to withdraw from a course or request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are available, ensuring clarity and fairness for both students and the institution.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the timing of withdrawal and the amount of course content accessed:

  • Full Refund: Students are entitled to a 100% refund if they withdraw within 14 days of enrolment and have accessed no more than 10% of the course content.
  • Partial Refund: A 50% refund may be granted if withdrawal occurs within the first 30 days of the course start date.
  • No Refund: No refunds will be issued if:
  • More than 30 days have passed since the start date, or
  • The student has accessed or completed most of the course materials.

2. Request Procedure

  • All refund requests must be made in writing to edu@acqlondon.co.uk
  • Requests must include:
  • Full name and contact details.
  • Course title and enrolment date
  • Reason for withdrawal
  • Refund requests will be acknowledged within 5 working days.

3. Processing of Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days of confirmation.
  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method originally used unless otherwise agreed.
  • Any bank charges or third-party transaction fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

  • ACQ London recognises that unforeseen circumstances may arise, such as serious illness, bereavement, or other emergencies.
  • In such cases, refund requests may be considered outside the standard timeframes, subject to submission of supporting evidence (e.g., medical certificate).
  • Each case will be reviewed individually, and decisions will be made at the discretion of the Academic Director.

5. Non-Refundable Items

Certain charges are non-refundable, including:

  • Application or registration fees
  • Administrative charges (e.g., certificate re-issue fees)
  • Fees for completed modules, workshops, or assessments

6. Course Cancellation by ACQ London

  • If a course is cancelled by ACQ London prior to commencement, students will receive a full refund of all tuition fees paid.
  • If a course is terminated after it has begun, a pro-rata refund will be issued based on the portion of the course not delivered.

7. Appeals

  • Students who are dissatisfied with the outcome of their refund request may submit a written appeal within 10 working days of receiving the decision.
  • Appeals will be reviewed independently, and a final decision will be communicated within 20 working days.
